I'm riding 500 km to be a champion for children

Make me a champion for children

Thousands of Australian children are living at risk of abuse and violence in their homes.

They deserve a champion. Even one who wears lycra!

That’s why I’m taking on The Champions Ride, so that Barnardos Australia can replace fear and danger with freedom and safety.

I’ll be putting my pedal to the metal and cycling during October, to raise money to help protect kids at risk

Please support me by making a tax-deductible donation to Barnardos Australia. Together we can be champions for a safe childhood.

Thursday 18th Aug
Hey there,

Matt doesn't have social media so he has (begrudgingly) given me (his wifey) permission to write this short promo blog on his behalf!

A bit about Matt:

Matt is passionate about protecting those in the community who are most vulnerable and has worked in many roles during his 23 years as police officer. Matt's favourite job by far is as a devoted dad to our two kids aged 5 and 7 ♥️.

I know Matt would be stoked to reach his $3000 goal so if you can spare even a few dollars for such a great cause, please consider sponsoring Matt!

Big big thanks to everyone!

NB: In the interest of full disclosure - Matt's daily rider is a heavy mountain bike with a pedal assist function, however, he will minimise the use of this when clocking up kms for Barnardos.

Thank you to my Sponsors
